In this paper the effect of two different fly ash types on the properties of self-compacting concrete in fresh state and hardened state was investigated: fly ash from Thermal power plant “Kakanj” and fly ash from Thermal power plant “Tuzla”. The results of testing fresh self-compacting concrete properties show that addition of fly ash from TPP “Kakanj” leads to improvement of fresh selfcompacting concrete mixture rheology, while using fly ash from TPP “Tuzla” increase cohesivity of mixture and its water demand. Testing of compressive strength, flexural strength and rate of strength development showed that there were not significant differences between two concretes in hardened
state.
