Abstract

Some laboratory enquire has been made on relating correlation main physical-mechanical characteristics of prepared leather where in producing process use mineral as well as herbal tans. It’s well known that use of herbal tans in producing leather has justification in aspect of environment protection issues and health protection. Experimental part has been conducted in leather factory “Prevent Leather Visoko”. Gained results can confirm that there is no essential difference in physical￾mechanical characteristics of prepared leather where in producing process use herbal as well as mineral tans.
