For exceptional demands of product quality, modern technological solutions allow that the nutritive value of food products, produced using a different technological processes, preserve and extend with application of a modified atmosphere. Using a combination of modified amtosfere, depending on the barrier properties of packaging materials, allows controlled permeability of molecules of oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide, and thus provides optimum protection and long-term quality of the packed contents. The paper presents the results of the quality of packaging materials PE ( 95 ) , OPPmet (20), OPP / PE ( 20/50 ) , OPPmet / PE ( 20/50 ) , PET / OPPmet / PE ( 12/38/30 , isolation of packaging of dried food products and stability of modified atmosphere application. Tests in this paper are related to tracking changes in the quality of packed dried fruit of a certain quality as well as the economic justification of packaging materials which would optimally protect the packaged product .
protection of packaging materials, barrier characteristics, packaging and sustainability in modified atmosphere (MAP).
