In Europe and the world number of companies and institutions which in development strategies include social responsibility strategies is bigger every day. It is a response to market demands and pressures of economic and social community on the issue of environmental protection. Corporate social responsibility is the responsibility of the company as its impact on society. Important factors in business and life of the company are the production and choice of technology. Since technology always dictates the job , it is necessary to devote particular attention to the choice of technology. Technology needs to shape work well. The result of this action is the most efficient system from the standpoint of cost, but in the sphere of corporate social responsibility it must take into consideration social and human values.This paper gives a brief overview of social responsibility and sustainable development in businesses and institutions, and the purpose of applying the principles of
corporate social responsibility in the production process and the choice of technology.
