The paper presents preliminary analysis of the impact of the season and time of day on the content of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene in the air of the city of Zenica. This analysis is carried out on the basis of data on the measurement of concentrations of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene downloaded from the Metallurgical Institute „Kemal Kapetanović“. The analysis depending on the concentration of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) in the air on the season, for the period November 2013 - October 2014, obtained that the concentrations of these compounds in Zenica during late fall and winter months were much higher than in the spring and summer. The analysis depending on the concentration of BTEX in the air of the city of Zenica on time of day, obtained that the concentration of BTEX increased early in the morning, and in the afternoon.
