Abstract

This paper examines the impact of improving working conditions and increasing capacity with Dual
track system. Three different cases were examined: Power ratio 100-650 kW, 200-550 kW and 300-
350 kW. All three different cases were obtained in very similar conditions (time necessary for
chemical analysis, alloying processes, slag cleaning etc). After starting Dual track system, all three
cases were examined for period of 7 days. As the most efficient power ratio, was case of 100-650 kW,
when the most numbered molds was done.
