In this paper the effects of the deformation strengthening mechanism on mechanical
attributes are evaluated (toughness is not treated) during cold drawing of a corrosionresistant austenitic steel NITRONIC 60. Experimental evidence indicates that the
technological factors of cold working by drawing significantly affect both the intensity of, and
the rate of change in the parameters describing strength and ductility (toughness is not
treated) of the steel material NITRONIC 60.
